The 2025 Winter Break at Kazerne Dossin

Kazerne Dossin is open throughout the winter break. Make this holiday season a meaningful cultural visit.

Opening hours during the winter break

On weekdays, Kazerne Dossin is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On weekends, the museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note that the museum and memorial will be closed on December 24, 25, and 31, 2025, as well as on January 1, 2026.

Every name matters during the winter break

During the winter break, the recording booths for Every name matters will be open more frequently. Register in advance and record a name on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, or during the weekend. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the booths are open in the morning. From Friday onward, they are open all day. After taking part in Every name matters, you may visit the permanent exhibition free of charge.

Visit the permanent exhibition

The permanent exhibition at Kazerne Dossin spans three floors and focuses on the persecution of Jews, Roma, and Sinti in Belgium and northern France during the Second World War. Visitors may explore the exhibition independently or book a guided tour.
