We are often asked whether it is possible to participate in Every name matters a second time. Unfortunately, this is not possible, but if you have already participated, there are other ways you can help the project. For example, you can bring your partner, share the project with family or friends, and even invite your colleagues to join.
That’s what Jolien did. Jolien participated in Every name matters earlier this year, and when her colleagues were looking for a location for an event, they chose Kazerne Dossin. This allowed Jolien to help record 15 new names.
Throughout the day, participants in the information session on legacies and colleagues from the Red Cross stopped by to record names. They listened attentively to the stories shared by our hosts and were highly motivated to take part. According to Jolien, who is from Mechelen herself, this was the perfect opportunity for many to visit the museum. She was delighted to share this meaningful project with her colleagues.
You too can organize a team-building event at Every name matters and help bring the project to completion. Find out how it works and plan your visit.
