Combine your recording appointment with a special museum trail!
From 4 October 2023, Kazerne Dossin will be looking for 25,843 people who will each come to record the name of a deportee at the museum. Afterwards, these 25,843 names will resonate in the memorial to commemorate them.
We offer all ‘Every name matters’ participants the opportunity to visit the museum for free with the ‘Every name matters’ paper visitor’s guide:
During your visit, discover answers to questions such as:
- How many deportees were on the train?
- How do you find the photo of deportees on the Portrait wall?
As you move through the museum, you will gain more of an insight into the history of deportations from Mechelen.
