On Thursday 30 November 2023, Kazerne Dossin organised its 11th Portrait Ceremony. This year has seen the addition of 49 new portraits to the museum’s Portrait Wall. To date, the museum has been able to ‘give a face’ to the name of almost 21,000 deportees from the Dossin Barracks. During this commemorative ceremony, we shared the life stories of some people whose photographs were found or donated in the past year.
