Adjustment to the De Lijn service
Starting from January 6, 2025, De Lijn will implement major changes to its service. Buses on lines 2, 4, and 50 will now stop at Kazerne Dossin. Visitors arriving by train can take bus 2 or bus 50 from Mechelen station. More information can be found on the city of Mechelen’s website.
Construction works in Mechelen
In spring 2025, there will be construction works at various locations in Mechelen. Starting on January 8, works will begin on Sint-Katelijnestraat, which are expected to last until March 31. Traffic will not be able to pass during the works and will be diverted. It will not be possible to enter the city via Sint-Katelijnestraat during this period. Visitors will need to enter the city via Frederik De Merodestraat instead. More information is available on the city of Mechelen’s website, where updates on the works will be shared.
