The Left Behind project was inspired by Gaby Morris who was researching her father’s family, Adler alias Fried, one of the Left Behind families. She approached Kazerne Dossin with the idea of exploring this neglected but important aspect of Antwerp’s history and with her husband Howard, has been a sponsor of the project. She dedicates this work to the memory of all the Left Behind and may their memory be a blessing.
